How can you go wrong with anything wrapped in bacon? This is a great holiday or entertaining recipe and it’s easy. It’s also a great companion to bacon-wrapped shrimp.

Bacon-Wrapped Scallops

Ingredients
- 12 Moody’s Diver scallops about 1 pound
- 12 slices Moody’s platter bacon
- 1 T Moody’s JustRite seasoning
- 3 T butter melted
Instructions

Collect all the ingredients.

Cook the bacon gently until partially cooked but not crisp and still flexible.

Soak scallops in cold water and pat dry with paper towel. Cut each scallop in half.

Cut each slice of bacon in half and wrap around each scallop half and secure with a toothpick.

Dip each wrapped scallop in butter, both sides and generously season with the JustRite.

Place scallops on a rack in a broiling pan and broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until scallops turn opaque throughout and the bacon is crisp. Use tongs to turn and baste with drippings.
