These baked beans are a perfect side dish for Baby Back Ribs or your favorite summer or winter family gathering.

Baked Beans

Ingredients
- 1 Can Great Northern beans*
- 1 Can Butter beans
- 1 Can Kidney beans
- 1 Can Baked beans**
- ½ pound bacon cut in ½ inch pieces (I use Moody’s Jowl Bacon)
- 1 Onion
- 1 C brown sugar
- ½ C water
- ¼ C molasses
Instructions

Drain all the beans except for the Baked Beans

Brown the bacon and onion together

In a saucepan, bring brown sugar and water to a boil until the sugar is dissolved

Stir in the molasses

Combine all ingredients together in an oven proof casserole or bean pot

Bake at 350°F for 1 ½ hours.
Recipe Notes
*Beans can be substituted for whatever you like. Sometimes I will add an extra can of beans, usually Garbanzos.
**Usually comes in a larger can than regular beans – use them all – it’s fine.
