SKEWERED LEMON CHILI SHRIMP

Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 3 T fresh lemon juice
- 2 T finely chopped cilantro
- 1 T honey
- 1 T soy sauce
- ½ T Chinese hot chili sauce
- ½ inch piece of fresh ginger grated
- 20 Moody’s peeled and deveined raw shrimp
- 20 wooden skewers 6 inches
Instructions
For the marinade:

Combine the first 7 ingredients in a non-metallic bowl

Add the shrimp and coat well

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour

Soak the wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes
Cooking:

Pre-heat broiler

Thread 1 shrimp on each skewer

Broil shrimp for about 2-3 minutes per side or until they turn pink and lose their transparency

Serve warm or room temperature
