In 2004, Steve and Anita Spencer founded LocalFolks Foods, inspired by the outgrowth of their innovative natural farming venture, Homestead Growers. Within a few years, they transitioned from using ingredients cultivated on their farm to partnering with farms and farm cooperatives across the greater Midwest region. This shift allowed them to focus on creating a diverse line of natural, wholesome foods, prioritizing simple, clean ingredients. Today, Steve and Anita continue to lead LocalFolks Foods, driving its growth and ongoing evolution.
We source a variety of products from local farms, producers, and other suppliers in Central Indiana. We bring these high-quality products to you at our local butcher shops in Avon, Geist, Zionsville, and Nora.
