Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 20 mins | Total Time: 30 mins | Serves: 4 people
Ingredients
4 Moody’s boneless and skinless chicken breasts
¼ t garlic powder
Flour for dredging
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
1 T olive oil
7 ounces baby bella mushrooms sliced thinly
1 large garlic clove minced
¾ C Marsala wine
½ C heavy cream
Parsley chopped for garnish
Instructions

Heat the olive oil and 1 T of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the chicken and sear for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
Add the remaining butter and mushrooms to the skillet and cook them for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
Add the minced garlic and Marsala wine and let it bubble for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add the cream and then add the chicken breasts back to the skillet. Cook for another 4 to 5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve immediately garnishing with the chopped parsley. Mashed potatoes are a good accompaniment.
