🍷 Wine pairing: A nice Chardonnay or Pinot Noir pairs well with this dish.

Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 20 mins | Total Time: 30 mins | Serves: 4 people

Ingredients

  • 4 Moody’s boneless and skinless chicken breasts

  • ¼ t garlic powder

  • Flour for dredging

  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

  • 1 T olive oil

  • 7 ounces baby bella mushrooms sliced thinly

  • 1 large garlic clove minced

  • ¾ C Marsala wine

  • Parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder and coat each breast with flour.

  3. Add the remaining butter and mushrooms to the skillet and cook them for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.

  4. Add the minced garlic and Marsala wine and let it bubble for 2 to 3 minutes.

  5. Add the cream and then add the chicken breasts back to the skillet. Cook for another 4 to 5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Serve immediately garnishing with the chopped parsley. Mashed potatoes are a good accompaniment.
